ABOUT THE EPISODE

In the last episode, we revealed everything that you need to know the first two weeks after a vaginal birth, and today we’re sharing what you need to know the first two weeks after a C-Section.

One-third of babies in the United States are delivered this way, yet by hearing from you, we feel that there is still a gap in the information that women need for recovery versus the information they are getting, and this is why we wanted to share openly with you on this topic. If you haven’t listened yet, in Episode 10 Krystle told the personal story of her first C-section with breech baby Brooke, so make sure to check that episode out too!

If this episode resonated with you, we would be so honored if you shared it and tagged us on Instagram, @expectingandempowered, so that we can see it and get your feedback! We’d also be so grateful if you would rate and review our podcast in your favorite podcast app, because that’s the best way for a newer podcast like ours to get more people to listen.

So, what should new mamas be doing immediately after surgery to improve their recovery? We have a blog post that lays out our top 10 tips! Here's a brief overview, but sure to check out the full post for all the details.
