E + E Podcast Episode 15: Trey's Birth Story: A Swift Bedside Delivery

LISTEN TO EPISODE 15

[I thought] I’ve gone through all of this and you’re telling me this baby is not going to come today? That’s when you have to coach yourself, and I had to regroup and say ‘Amy, this is going to happen when this baby is ready to come out. The timing is not up to me and this is out of my hands, so I just have to stay positive and stay the course.
— Amy Kiefer

ABOUT THE EPISODE

It’s Amy here, and today I am sharing the story of my second son’s birth. His name is Trey Daniel, and I will say that out of my three births, this one was my favourite labor and delivery experience (and you’ll hear why that is)!

In this episode, I reveal some of the important discussions that I knew I had to have with my OBGYN, the way that I prepared myself for this birth, and how it differed from my first. I also give a complete breakdown at what that day was like for me, from the first contraction until at the hospital where Trey entered this world!

If this episode resonated with you, we would be so honored if you shared it and tagged us on Instagram, @expectingandempowered, so that we can see it and get your feedback! We’d also be so grateful if you would rate and review our podcast in your favorite podcast app, because that’s the best way for a newer podcast like ours to get more people to listen.
